lyrics
There's blood on my hands, there's blood on my fingers
This feeling inside, it stings and it lingers
Nothing changes and nothing ever will
I can't rely on things I haven't built
So I'll take my time, start it all over
Watching the storm roll in
I'll get back in line, I can't do this all sober
Knowing nothing will ever be the same again
Trade in your hindsight for a disregard of empathy
Nothing constructive to say? Maybe next time
Just say nothing
So I'll take my time, start it all over
Watching the storm roll in
I'll get back in line, I can't do this all sober
Knowing nothing will ever be the same again
And I'll take my time, start it all over
Look into my eyes, see signs of life
Cause it feels like I've never been closer
To stop failing by my own design
Today consumes tomorrow
And the next day and the next
Should God be real
Please let him, let me rest
The shit we talked, the rules we made
Will never see the light of day
We kicked and screamed to hear me out
I never really was okay
We went away to find ourselves
But all came back with separate hells
The songs we wrote to sing and play
Will never see the light of day
So I'll take my time, start it all over
Watching the storm roll in
I'll get back in line, I can't do this all sober
Knowing nothing will ever be the same again
And I'll take my time, start it all over
Look into my eyes, see signs of life
Cause it feels like I've never been closer
To stop failing by my own design
This rapidly rose to become one of my favourite albums, and has been on repeat since hearing it. A constant theme runs throughout which makes this an album, not just a collection of songs in a way I haven't heard before. Classic pop-punk sing-alongs, hardcore screaming, along with some synth (!) sections - Its such a mix, but it comes together so well. Picking a favourite song does the whole album a disservice - its a package deal.
Treat yourself to a listen. Timbo
You guys always push me emotionally, musically, and creatively. Along with showing I'm not the only one that goes through the shit I have for years. Excellent release bros, I'd happily buy this 10 times over. PandasForDinner
